Assembly Technician

Reporting to the Production Manager, the primary purpose of the Assembly Technician is to assemble and test electronic components and products within a Clean Room environment. The role requires good manual dexterity in order to work with complex assemblies and the ability to work with small hand tools and measuring equipment. The Assembly Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that products meet quality standards and are assembled efficiently.

Responsibilites will include:

• Assemble components and products according to specifications and engineering drawings.
• Utilise hand tools and testing equipment safely and effectively to complete assembly tasks.
• Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet required standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the assembly process, providing solutions as necessary.
• Assist in inventory management by keeping track of materials used during assembly.

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a clean room or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Electronics knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in using hand tools safely.
• Excellent manual dexterity in order to work with complex assemblies.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

The Successful candidate will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement upon receiving a job offer.
