This device is single, hermetically sealed optically coupled isolators. The channel is composed of a Gallium Arsenide infrared emitting diode coupled to an integrated high speed photon detector. The output of the detector is an open collector Schottky clamped transistor.
This CH350 has an internal shield providing a guaranteed common mode transient immunity specification of 1000V/μs and is used for isolation voltage applications requiring up to 500VDC. The CH350 is being used in environments encountered by space applications. It is manufactured to meet JANS standards in conjunction with MIL-PRF-19500 procedures (please see next page for all other applicable specifications). The package style for this device is a 5-pin Hybrid, with solder dip option available.
