Description

This device is a hermetically sealed, dual-channel optically coupled isolator. Each channel is composed of a Gallium Arsenide infrared emitting diode and high gain photon detector. The high gain output stage features anb open collector output providing both lower output saturation and higher speed of operation than what is possible with conventional photodarlington couplers.

The CMS6730 is being used in environments encountered in space applications. Package styles for this device include an LCC-20 package with solder dip options available. This package has a shield effect to cut off ambient light as they are designed for high density mounting applications.

Absolute maximum ratings, recommended operating conditions, electrical specifications and performance characteristics are identical for all units. Any exceptions, due to packaging variations and limitations, are as noted.
