Description
This device is single channel, hermetically sealed optically coupled isolator. It is composed of a Gallium Arsenide infrared emitting diode and a silicon phototransistor. The 4N49 is being used in harsh radiation environments encountered by space applications. Package styles for this device include a 6-pin TO-5 Metal Can, with solder dip option available.
